Justice Sanjiv Khanna sworn-in as 51st Chief Justice of India
Justice Sanjiv Khanna was on Monday (Nov 11) sworn-in as the 51st Chief Justice of India.President Droupadi Murmu administered the oath of office to Justice Khanna at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Justice Khanna succeeds Chief Justice DY Chandrachud who retired on Sunday.Justice Khanna, 64, will serve a six-month term until May 2025.
