Haryana Youth Films Daring Stunt Atop 282-Foot OP Jindal Tower, Sparks Safety Concerns
Imagine balancing your life hundreds of feet above the ground—without any safety gear. While most people wouldn’t dare to climb such heights, a youth from Haryana risked his life by performing dangerous stunts atop the 282-foot-high OP Jindal Tower in Hisar.
The shocking act came to public attention after a video of the stunt began circulating widely on social media platforms.
In the viral clip, the youth is seen crossing the tower’s safety boundary and placing two beer bottles on its outer surface before attempting a series of perilous stunts. He can be seen standing on his head and later hanging upside down by hooking his feet onto the exterior structure of the tower.
Alarmed by the reckless act, tower staff immediately intervened and informed the authorities. The youth was subsequently handed over to the police.
Tower operator Kuldeep Singh stated that the individual admitted his mistake, apologised to officials, and assured them that he would never repeat such a dangerous act. Taking his cooperation into account, the police released him after counselling, while reiterating the serious risks involved in such stunts.
