Assam triple murder: A triple murder has rocked Dhing town in Nagaon district of Assam after a man hacked his wife and two daughters to death, the motive apparently what police believe, according to initial probe, was due to domestic issues.
The shocking incident took place in Kaskhati locality of Dhing, reportedly on Thursday night, while the incident came to light today (Dec 19) morning after their blood-soaked bodies were discovered.
Emdadul Islam, the accused, hacked his wife Tazmina Khatun and daughters Dilhan Hasan and Arhan Hasan to death, attacking them with a sharp axe resulting in their instant death.
While police have arrested the murderer, the bodies were sent to Nagaon for a post-mortem.
The sensational triple murder has shocked residents of Dhing in particular and people of Assam in general with people questioning as to how a person can kill his wife and daughters in the most inhuman manner.
