NF Railway says the new stoppage will offer smoother and more convenient travel options to passengers
Northeast Frontier Railway (NF Railway) has introduced a new stoppage for the Agartala–Silchar–Agartala Express (Train No. 15663/15664) at Pencharthal railway station in Tripura to further strengthen regional connectivity and enhance travel convenience for passengers, a media release issued by NF Railway CPRO Kapinjal Kishore Sharma stated.
The flagging-off ceremony was held at Pencharthal Railway Station was attended by Tripura Minister for Industries & Commerce Santana Chakma along with other senior railway officials.
N.F Railway said the Silchar-bound train will arrive at 2:01 pm everyday and departure two minutes later while the train traversing to Agartala will arrive at 1:13 pm and depart at 1:15 pm.
The addition of the Pencharthal halt, NF Railway hoped, will help in further strengthening regional rail services and offer smoother and more convenient travel options, improving access to essential rail facilities and enhancing connectivity to key destinations for passengers of North Tripura district and nearby areas.
