After receiving death threats for Bollywood stars Shah Rukh and Salman Khan, Mumbai Police have now received another threat message with the sender revealing about a plot targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Reports said the traffic helpline of Mumbai Police received a text message in which the sender stated that Prime Minister Modi’s life was under threat and that a plot to target the Prime Minister was being hatched by way of bomb blast to be carried out by two ISI agents.
Police traced the sender to Ajmer district of Rajasthan.
An FIR has been registered against the unknown sender although reports say the person could be mentally disturbed who had sent the message under the influence of alcohol.
Earlier in November, Mumbai Police’s traffic control room received another threat call where the caller claimed a plan was in place to assassinate Prime Minister Modi.
Reports said the caller was a woman who was also mentally disturbed.
